Woodchucks

Woodchucks(also known as groundhogs) are rarely a problem for homeowners unless they decide to make your vegetable or flower garden their dining room table, or take it upon themselves to dig under a deck, shed, etc. Woodchucks are the only true hibernaters we have in western Connecticut. They go into hibernation around mid-October and emerge in late February/early March.
